BC Agriculture in the Classroom
Working to bring BC’s agriculture to our students.
BC Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation (BCAITC) is a non-profit organization that provides curriculum-linked resources and innovative, hands-on programs for teachers to help bring BC’s agriculture to their students. In 2004, The BC Ministries of Agriculture, Education and Health selected us to implement and administer the BC School Fruit and Vegetable Nutritional (BCSFVNP) Program.
At BCAITC we believe that having a good understanding of agriculture enables students to make better food choices. It also leads to an awareness of the role we all play in the sustainability of agriculture in our communities. Our quality resources and programs bring agriculture into classrooms and highlight it as an important part of our way of life.
BCAITC offers a wealth of resources and other programs that support the BC curriculum. Visit our Press Room to see what we've been up to!
